Q: How can the pool members see if they have any Autopicks left for the season?
Q: Our pick lock time is Sunday at noon. There is a Thursday night game this week. We pick 5 games per week in my pool. I’m not picking a team playing Thursday, so can I wait until Saturday to make my picks or do I have to have all my picks made by game time Thursday?

Q: At what point is everyone’s picks available to everyone in the pool?
Q: I don’t see any way to enter Monday Night Football scores to be used for our weekly tie-breaker.

Q: I have an owner that emailed me his picks for this week. I forgot to put them in before the games started today. I know I can enter his picks using the Edit Previous Picks function as Commissioner, but I cannot see his Team Home Page of picks for this week. Why is that?
Q: How do I change my Team name after I have registered?
Q: We have set up our Pick 'em Pool to include point spreads. How do we enter them or are they entered by MFS each week?
A: MFS adds the point spreads each week. This is performed the weekend before Game 1 and each Tuesday night during the season. Occasionally, a major injury will occur that will prevent Las Vegas from setting a line initially for a game. We'll post the line as soon as it comes out. This may cause us to use the initially released line if no line is available before the first game of the week. One of the pool settings is to lock all picks at the start of the first game so we will make sure all games have a line before the first game starts. If no line is available on Tuesday when the lines are first set, we'll note a delay in setting the real line by using 99 as the spread and the total and will put a message on the site Message Board.
Q: I would like the members of my Pool to be able to register multiple teams. How can I do this?
A: The Commissioner has the option when configuring the League Settings to allow multiple entries per pool per team by selecting the checkbox called " Allow the same MFS User to register multiple teams". This will allow the pool member to join multiple times using the Join Existing Pool button with the Pool ID and Password. They will simply need to register each time with a unique name to your Pool.
Q: How can I delete a Pool I started?
A: The Commissioner will need to email your League Name and League ID to MFS at info@maximumfantasysports.com and we'll delete the Pool and all related information.
Q: What happens if the NFL game ends in a Tie (with or without the Spread)?
A: The Commissioner determines how to handle Ties as part of the Pool configuration (found on the League Settings). The choices are to count the game as a Full Win, Half Win or a Loss. Additionally, there is a separate configuration option on Tie-handling for Double Play picks too.
Q: I have some players who want to play in our Pool but do not have computer access. How do I register their picks?
A: All pool members must have a validated MFS User ID. So, you’ll have to create an MFS User ID for the team with a generic email address. You can use the participant’s name or your pool name or something along those lines. When done, send us the ID and we’ll flip the verification flag on for you. From there, you’ll have to join your pool logged in as that ID. After that, you will be able to manage their picks from your ID using the Edit Previous Picks function from your home page instead of having to log in as that “dummy” team.
Q: I would like to see if the members of my Pool have submitted their picks. How can I do this if I cannot see their Team Home Page?
A: On the League Home Page for your Pool, there is a "Reports" link. When clicked, a list of reports is displayed. Click on the report named "Pick Status Report". This report shows which Pool members have submitted their picks for the week and how many Autopicks they have left for the season.
Q: How do the default picks work?
A: Default picks are only used when making weekly picks is mandatory. If so, then your Default Picks option is triggered then to pick the required number of games. If the picks do not lock at the first game of the week, you can always make changes to games that have not started yet.
Q: When do the Drop Weeks begin being removed from the Season Standings?
A: We like to get past the first few weeks of the season before removing teams' worst week(s) or the Season Standings would be empty. After the 5th week has been completed, your Season Standings will reflect the best records with the worst week(s) removed.
Q: A member of my league didn't make picks for the week but they were automatically picked for him. I chose the Configuration option where weekly picks aren't mandatory, so I'm not sure why this happened. Can you help me out with this? Also, is there a way to remove his picks for this week so people won't think he owes money for picks he didn't make?
A: The pool picks may not be mandatory but his Team Details has a Default picks option selected for his team instead of using the No Defaults option. So, picks will be made for him unless he selects the No Defaults choice. You can adjust the amount owed for his team on the Finances page.
Q: I had three teams that couldn't get registered before the pool closed but contacted me before the deadline. Can I still add them?
A: Yes. Just edit the configuration options and change the registration date to a future time to allow them to join. If they join after the games have started, you may enter picks for them using the Edit Previous Picks Commissioner Tool.
Q: Where in my pool can I enter Monday Night Football tie-breaker points? It was on my Team Home Page last year.
A: The weekly tie-breakers will always be found on your Team Home Page. However, if they are not there, your Commissioner chose not to allow tie-breakers this year. You can check the setting on your League Settings, found on your League Home page.
Q: The season has started and I have some deadbeat members who have not paid yet. Can you send MFS Moose and Rocco over to collect from them or at least delete them from my pool?
A: Though we are not fond of deadbeat owners, we cannot enforce collection of your league fee. You can delete the pool members from your pool using the Team and Coach List link on your Pool Home Page. To the right of the team and coach name, there is a Delete link.
Q: I am not clear what the Weekly Picks Are Optional configuration setting is. If I configure it to be No, what happens to the teams who miss the deadline to get picks in?
A: No matter what the setting is for that option, MFS will use the setting from the Team Details on the Team Home Page for Default Picks. If a team’s option is set to Autopick for them, then MFS will make the picks for those teams at the deadline IF they have remaining Autopicks left. If No Defaults is selected, then that team will receive zero points for that week.
Q: How can the pool members see if they have any Autopicks left for the season?
A: All pool members can see their Autopick status from the Reports section. There is a report called Pick Status Report that shows which teams have made their picks for the week as well as the remaining number of Autopicks for each team.
Q: Our pick lock time is Sunday at noon. There is a Thursday night game this week. We pick 5 games per week in my pool. I’m not picking a team playing Thursday, so can I wait until Saturday to make my picks or do I have to have all my picks made by game time Thursday?
A: You can wait until Saturday, or even Sunday at 11:59, to make your picks, but the Autopick process will run when the first game of the week starts for those players who have Autopicks left and have not made all mandatory picks for the week. This is done in case the proper game to autopick, based on the teams’ autopick setting, is Thursday’s game. If the autopick does not choose Thursday‘s game, it still counts as an autopick and the available number of autopicks is decreased by 1. The Saturday or Sunday games that the autopick process selected do not lock until each game starts or the pick deadline has passed, so you can still change your picks until the pick deadline or start of the game if prior to the pick deadline.
Q: I am in a Pick ‘em pool that has 10 mandatory games required to pick. Last week, someone ended up with a 10-2 record. How is that possible?
A: Your Pick ‘em Pool is using Double Plays. Double Plays allow you to weigh games that you are more confident in. When you mark a game as a Double Play, you are credited with two wins if the team covers and two losses if they don’t cover. In your pool, you can mark up to two games as Double Plays.
Q: At what point is everyone’s picks available to everyone in the pool?
A: It depends on the configuration. If the Commissioner has chosen to Hide Picks Until The Start of Last Game, then all picks will be displayed when the last game starts. If not, then the picks will be displayed after the Pick Lock date/time has passed.
Q: I don’t see any way to enter Monday Night Football scores to be used for our weekly tie-breaker .
A: You have chosen the tie-breaker option of “No tie-breaker” and your number 1 priority on your League Settings. When this option is the number 1 priority, we suppress the entry fields on the Team Home Page. To change, move a separate tie-breaker option to number 1.
Q: I am ready to create a new pool for this coming football season. How do I get the email addresses for players who played last season?
A: When you start your pool registration using the Create Pool process, you have the option to copy last year's pool in the first step. In the last step, all of last year's emails will be listed.
Q: I have an owner that emailed me his picks for this week. I forgot to put them in before the games started today. I know I can enter his picks using the Edit Previous Picks function as Commissioner, but I cannot see his Team Home Page of picks for this week. Why is that?
A: To prevent the Commissioner from having an unfair advantage, the Edit Previous Picks function works like the display of league-wide picks; you cannot see the team home page of picks until after the Pick Deadline has passed. Once it has passed, you can enter his picks and it will be recorded on the League Home Page Message Board.
Q: How do I change my Team name after I have registered?
A: You can change your Team name at any point in the season from the Team Home Page using the Edit Team Details link.
